James is native of Pike County, KY and grew up in the Freewill Baptist faith crediting his knowledge of Jesus to his Auntie and Uncle Mickey and to his Poppy for always taking him to church. But it wasn't until he was an adult that he fully surrendered to God after running from Him for many years.
James was called to Pastor Licking River Baptist Church in April 2024 and now resides in Salyersville.
